Like two trees planted together
For fifty years side by side
Leaning on each other in foul or fair weather
Together grown and now abide
Their roots entangled, now the same, find
Their differences put aside
Their branches interwoven and entwined
Two become one, in and outside

I have decided to go it alone but so as not to appear unusual i have now grown to the size of two to keep up appearances.
P.S. it's not working for me.
Very amusing dusk thank you for your review and comment. Going it alone has its own advantages.
Excellent metaphor. Some couples do end up looking like each other, finish each other's sentences........
Thank you so much Rozina for your review and welcome comments.
