To what purpose does man write?
And to whom will it be heard?
For some it be to send you affright
And some to reveal the absurd
Others to invigorate a humdrum life
Or to rewrite it at any strife
Perhaps to enlighten and free the mind
Maybe a skulking propagator to steer mankind
The wise set out to teach the young and naïve
Let not their virtue fall deaf, and it they shall conceive
As boundless as the sky, so be the gamut of writing
From libraries its song is oh so inviting
A cavalcade of chaos and order resides inside
To bestow shelter to minds of the tired and tried
