Save me a seat in heaven

BlessedByTheStorm

They say heaven is home and God is all that we need

So save me a seat right next to the mead

Let's have drunken talks about life indeed

We'll talk about how life was all just a test, and really we all just gave it our best

Sometimes we got angry but not anymore, the past is beneath us now under the floor

No more sadness or pain or feelings of shame

It's better than we what we prayed for and still all the same

I'm grateful already God gave me this life

and promised if I believe in his son that I'll see the light

When God opens the gates someone point to my seat

And I'll fly on over who needs feet
