There’s something beautiful about that last painful thought in your mind
Right before you say goodbye for the last time
And realizing the hidden love you had all along feels like a crime
There’s something beautiful about that last breath you took
Knowing you give the pen over for someone to continue your book
The end is not the last chapter
Some realize that before they die and not after
But either way is fine
We all end up in the same place, our paths just draw different lines
There’s a time there’s a place make no mistake, we all have a purpose some call it fate
But it’s okay if most can’t relate
Some pray to a God that they’ve never seen
They say he protects us from harm from the unseen
But why do we die if we are protected
That question is why most hear religion and reject it
But what if death is how God protects us
Letting us escape the pain and not feel restless
Finally at home in peace because God blessed us
