VICTORY IN THE CROSS

Jesus Christ is the lamb of God,

Who has been given for all the world.

So come to the cross and be filled.

Take of His body, for it has been broken,

Just for you!

Take also of His blood, and forgiveness you will know,

As your chains fall to the ground.

It was His precious blood He poured out,

To bear our punishment for all the world.

So come to the cross and bow your knee,

For the king has come down from heaven,

To bear our pain as He was lifted up.

As He bowed His head and gave up the ghost,

All the powers of darkness rejoiced,

For they thought He was defeated.

But behold!

Three days later the ground shook,

And out of the grave He came.

For He has taken the keys from the enemy's hand,

All authority has been given to the LORD above.

So come to the cross,

The answer you seek is laying at the foot of the cross.
