racehorse / penny in the air

Noah Malice

they say she's a racehorse

but she's just an old mare

and her folks are counting on the penny in the air

heads up on the way down

tails up to the fair

well if she's a racehorse

she's racing them there

they say she's a racehorse

but she's just an old mare

and her folks are counting on the penny in the air

heads up on the fairgrounds

tails down to the floor

well if she's a racehorse

she'll race a little more

lights out on the blacktop

she's running in the dark

and her folks are counting those pennies in the park

heads up for good luck

tails point at the stars

well if she's a racehorse

she's the best one by far
