I could have you any day of the week, I think

I think you’ve fallen in love with me

I fell for you without even knowing I had

until you were the only person on my mind

Until you were the only person I wanted by my side

any day of the week I would wish to run my hands through your hair and play with your dry ends

any day of the week I’d want to hug you from behind

any day of the week I’d want to remind you how much I love you

any day of the week I’d hope for a future with you

Every day of the week I wish and I pray

that some day you would want to have me the same way
