Walking down that boulevard
Of fumbled broken dreams,
We take life so very hard
Even when it gleams.

'doddery eyes, witnessing scenes
slippery slick, with crimson tears
shuffle along
as ambition's ghosts hover, darkening
the tint, of our shadows..'
(a great shorty, you emoted so much
in such few words, thanks for sharing
and inspiring my feeble poetic reply, dear poet)
Thank you.
