Bad days

Hoolihooli

I excuse the bad things that happen by making the entirety of my day a bad day

“I had such a bad day today!”
the truth is

every other day was a bad day

the more ‘bad days’ I had

the more I realized that they weren’t bad days

they were uncomfortable situations

A lot of the time

I forgot about the other good things that happened that day

instead of being proud of myself for what I accomplished

I focused on the few mistakes I did, that all happened from the same thing

And I beat myself up about it

now I remember

it’s not a bad day

It’s a bad situation or a bad thing that happened to me
