Waiting

Not

we have to wait in this bed,

staying sick isn't pretty or cute,

let's stay while we're checked in,

don't think about diving down the laundry chute

eventually they'll let us leave,

and then we'll adventure about,

for now let's not cause trouble,

even if you're in pain, don't scream or shout

I want to get out too,

even though I don't know where we'll go once we're out those doors,

but anywhere is better than here,

and where we've been before
