THE TIDES DO TURN

ericjwolf28

Cast away from among her peers she walked away sobbing and crying wondering why? What has she done to deserve this? Why have they cast me aside as if I was nothing? That's ok she said, for one day the very people who closed the door in her face would come begging to her on their knees. We now see your worth, they said, come and join and make merry with us. It was too late for that now for she remembers how they once treated her as if she was nothing but a dirty dress in rags. So onward she walked through the night with peace of mind for she knew in her heart she was a queen and one day she would reign and the very people who shunned her would come bowing to her feet.
