Run Girl, Run

MonaLisaDaVinci

Run Girl, Run

Out of nowhere came your fist,
Feelings of monumental pain,
My eyes began to mist,
Then pour like a cleansing rain.
When they dried,
Through the agony,
You could not hide,
The hate you held for me.
Is this really love,
It doesn’t feel that way
I asked to whom ever is above
Waiting for someone to say.
“No, it isn’t, run girl, run.
Into your life,
Into the sun,
Love is not strife,
Take my hand,
I’ve loved you all along,
Someday you will understand,
That what he does is all wrong”.

    what a defiantly, brave wording
    of such a harrowing experience..
strife is life, to a certain extent
but we must, strive to believe
we can find our way, to a better day..
    stay strong!
    and thank you!
for choosing to share and path
    a lighthouse of Hope
    to another
    who may read your words
    and find in them
that very same hand, you were
    reaching out for
    during your survival, Fight!
    what a laudable inspiration
    for a poem!
