Dear Departed Dadda

Florence Johnson

Dadda,
Together we were in our journey
But suddenly you have gone leaving me
Though you have gone
I am unable erase my feelings
 You do not know
How much I miss you
You were there for me
When I needed a shoulder to lean
You were there in my side
Even while in duties I failed.

I loved calling you ' Dadda'
I loved holding your shoulders while we were in bike
I loved standing close to you without a gap
I loved your very being with me

You were so simple
You were so dependable
You were so trustworthy
You were so knowledgeable
You were so responsible
You were so adorable………..
My list goes on Dadda
I cannot contain it.

You have shouted at me
For not wearing seat belt
For not learning Google Maps & locations
For not getting updated
For not being health conscious
For not following your instructions……….
But as your love surpassed shouting I could easily forget.

Since God loved you more
He took you off from me
But promised to be in your stead for me
Walking now with God
Under His masterplan
Wishing to meet you soon Dadda
