LOST SOUL

Feeling like a lost soul I have hidden myself, do not come to find me for I am no longer there but amongst the shadows have I hidden. It is there that not a soul can find me but all the other lost souls that have no longer allowed their light to shine. Emotional battles war on in the mind here and nothing can be done but to feel yourself slowly fading away into nothing. A deaf ear I will turn to those who call my name, for I do not want to be found but left alone in the dark where all dreams die. So do not try to seek me for my footsteps have already been erased from the earth and no more will I be found but only a memory will I be in the heart of those who once knew of me. My new home is amongst the shadows where not a single trace will be found of me. Though the clock may continue to tick, time has ceased for me, nothing left but the memories of everything that has been broken without a way to bring back what was once new but now shattered into many pieces.
