Notice of absence from Dead!CLATTER
I'm not going to post much after tomorrow due to school and stress, and overall just not having much time to make poems. I will post here and there, but other than that a whole lot of nothing. I hope you all have an amazing day though!! :] Remember to drink water and take care of yourself (bc you're important!!) :D

Turn on the light
Walk down the stairs
Come up the flight
And count the hairs
He’s insecure
They always stare
His lifes’ a blur
Hes’ always aware
He has long hair
And cries to sleep
He wished it was fair
He always weeped
Why couldn't he be like them?

- Comment from author about the poem: I am Transgender and in middle school. I am really into poetry and needed a way to let it all out. So I wrote this. May not be very good, but I tried lol. I also go by He/him pronouns. He/him/his.

'from eyes - looking out
there exists a uniform, 'them'
but
from the earth, look up
or the universe, looking down
there ain't no two footprints
or skeletal crown's, alike...
being different isn't a crime
wanting, to belong isn't a weakness
all we need do, is stay true
to ourselves
and appreciate the small gifts
in our lives...'
(thanks for sharing
stay strong!)
