Tactics.
Choice of dashing speed
in over-rushed passion
gives joy of freewheeling
where restraint matters
no time for betweenness
as quick tactics
shut roads taken to real
satisfaction.

It's that May friskiness again.
I wouldn't know of it. Fido says friskiness is bad for me! lol.
(a great write, as-ever
dear Fay
forgive me, I couldn't help
attempting a feeble reply
to reflect my alignment
with my interpretation
of your poetry's, sentiments)..
when knowing the difference
between
actions with intensions
to yield connections
of heart reciprocated, affections
and
sinister plotting, for minutes
of futile gratification..
we evolve
from being mindless people
enslaved
by our animalistic instincts
to human's
empowered by our innate
feelings and natural attractions...
(you don't have to approach
every potential, romantic interest
with intent to marry
and love for eternity
but
you do owe, that individual
the consideration and respect
you would like
to be afforded to you..
How true your final statement in this wonderful comment dear friend - - - we owe any partner the respect and consideration we would want too - -- a jewel of a review once again and thank you sincerely L.B.
The road to a sustained relationship is littered with nodes of decision such as this. I love the idea of "no time for betweenness."
OH, the self-questioning along the road to romance. Your poem speaks truth and entertains. It's a gem. - Phil A.
I love your wise thoughts on this delicate subject of showing respect to a partner in all things intimate - thanks Phil for dropping by my page for a read of Tactics.
A super write. When someone is in the beginning of a great love affair or lust affair maybe they don't have any actual tactics planned, just go wherever the flow goes! But later as the situation pans out tactical manoeuvres start to come in? I absolutely agree about respect and consideration, always.
Passion not only ignites the bodies, but within your words, mind too.
