Nothing is for sure

0121_Pedro

life grabs you unaware

wreaks pain without a care

eyes closed to the breeze

it brings you to your knees

seconds flat, life has changed

time turns another page

but different now it feels

the strangest things seem real

‘coincidence’ I tell myself

‘you’re taking leave of sense’

so why do I question why

where to birds and angels fly?

why register that face

every object, every place?

asking if palms tell the truth?

was that robin really you?

am I hot or am I cold?

or just a fool digging for gold?

but one thing I know for sure

that is, nothing is for sure

Nothing is for sure. Pretty much what can be summed up from observing what is around us. Good read. Thanks for sharing.
