Arising Blue

Noah Malice

when the sun sets down
and out comes the moon
dusk arises not a minute too soon

and the moonlight shines
so vibrant and true
on all the orchids purple and blue

and through closed eyes
i see the shape of love
through cool air from up above

and if the music falls
flat on deaf ears
still i hear the sound so clear

each night under the moon
a moment to myself
not a moment too soon

i won't be harsh
and i won't be snide
i love sharing my poetic side
