Rain
Pitter-patter-pitter-patter
Rain falls,
I fall too
Except the rain falls onto the street
And I fall for you
The rain I wonder, is it crying?
Crying with me?
Shhhh-shhhh-shhhh
the rain pours, and it whispers
‘Quiet, quiet down… everything will be fine’
How do I explain to the world that I’m out of time
too much love too late
and when you look at me there is hate
CRACK! BOOM!
Thunder ensues
the rain is hurt
I am too
Except the rain is hurt at the world
And
I
am
hurt
cause
I
Love
You
except
You
Don’t
Love
Me
Too

- Comment from author about the poem: seen a lot of people using onomatopoeia thought I’d try it too except with a small twist on it
