I meditate

hzugman

I meditate to abate my inputs

Goodbye sounds

So long views

Bye bye tastes and smells

Adios feelings sensed and felt

Hush my hyperactive and often critical mind

I'm going to that wonderful nothingness for a while

So that maybe I can learn something

About myself

About others

About the universe.

I'll get back to you all soon

But for now I escape

I absolutely love this! I meditate everyday sometimes twice a day. That feeling of nothingness yet everything is a feeling I wish I could bottle up and give to everyone so they finally understand the wonders of meditation on the mind. It really was life changing for me when I gradually learned how to meditate correctly. You described it perfectly.
