Always on the prowl
Hungry for the take
Stealing is their right
Expendable the friendship at stake
The aggressors and victims
A relationship of misplaced trust
The decline of conscience
A cancerous rust
All too often
The victim gets blamed
While the guilty runs free
Glorious for his fame
The people don't blame him
Instead they blame us
The failed and the fallen
Have I lost all my trust?
No; I won't let them
Ruin my life
But sometimes I do wonder
Why'd he cause this strife?
Oh what a drama
A scene to create
One full of woe
The other of hate
But look past the story
And surprise,you will see
Both are fighting
For the same kind of need
Both insecure with a desire
To take
Both child like in actions
Learnt to relate
For the adult inside
Hasn't grown up
So victim or aggressor
Is the way we react
