Soul

My life has become

a smile on my face

a time of change

a different pace

I notice the green

the color of Spring

the flowers that grow

the life it brings

A feeling of peace

despite it all

for around me flows

a sense of raw

Emotion for I

have cast in motion

a different direction

an act of devotion

To myself that I thought

was long gone

but only dormant

and may seem to some

As a move to torment

but know in my heart

no matter how this feels

the right thing's to part.

I no longer wish

or long for the day

of what I knew not

might come my way

But instead I look 

forward with a smile

there's so much to do

and no way will I dial

my life back again

I'll do what I want

no plans will I make

my gypsy soul I'll flaunt.
