Every day, I persistently try.
Let today be the day that I don't cry.
But somehow my tears find their way out.
Making my heart feel lighter, I let them go by.
Sometimes when I am stuck in scary scenes,
In the strong grip of the lonely nights and shadows of shattered dreams,
I steal some power from you, and you happily oblige.
You give me courage that helps me strive with a smile.
Together, we laugh and share our sorrows.
In each other's hearts, we instil hope for a better tomorrow.
But whenever you found me broken, you've always stood by.
Sometimes you stop me, sometimes you let me cry.
I feel our hearts break together.
When one of us is hurting, we ache together.
The pain can try all it wants.
It'll never be able to destroy the happiness we make together.

A beautiful poem about a shared love. It was nice to read it. When we have people stand by us, a shoulder to cry on, someone to hear us cry or even cry with us, it's a comforting feeling. It makes us stronger. You put that into words. Nicely done!
