Non-human

Dipper

I feel less like a human everyday. I have never felt as though I was entirely human despite pretending I did. Everyday things seem to get more strange. I feel like an alien that looks human and appears to act human, however upon looking closer you realize that something is different- something is nonhuman despite the outward appearance. Everyone is a human being and I am an alien, or a robot, or any creature that could easily be mistaken for a human at first glance. People seem to look a certain way even though everyone looks different, everyone feels the same way even though everyone feels different, everyone but me. My classmates appear perfectly human, as if their flaws were handpicked to suit them in the best way possible. I do not feel like everyone else, I do not look like everyone else, my imperfections are not  perfect like everyone else. I am an imperfect creature in an unfamiliar world where everything appears as perfection.

well, if you felt like an alien
    then, we the humans
would appear to be aliens, to you..
    ergo
    by your own words
    you're still
    one of us, just maybe
    a little estranged
    and so feeling, removed
    from everyone else, seemingly
    running around, doing
    that whole living, thing..
    but you see, in actuality
    just like you
    'they'
    are just doing their best
    to make that next breath
    a little easier and sweeter
    than, the last..
    nothing more
    and yet, nothing - less
    either...
    stay strong, dear fellow
    Alien
    thank for sharing
