Humble Abode

Aaliya J

I underestimate my freedom of expression

I underestimate the freedom of joy

I underestimate the freedom of love

And I underestimate the feeling called home

I come, I see, I relax

No bother, No care

I am taking advantage of my two pillars

I am taking advantage of my safe space

I am yet to realize there is no place like home

There is no place like Mother and Father

There is no place like where I am fully myself

It aches my heart, how I have wasted these precious times

Quarreling away without thinking

Quarreling away all the useless frustration

Quarreling away my soon to be regret

There is no other place like my peaceful little nest.
