To My Brethren

Spamalicious

You gotta lot of nerve

The audacity is appalling

You think you hold power over me?

Didn't mommy ever tell you

If you can't think of anything nice to say

Then SHUT THE FUCK UP LITTLE BOY!

Your masculinity must be fragile

If the thought of equality makes you uncomfortable

You uncomfortable?

Good! Welcome to the club

Karma is a bitch

You see, from the time we were very small

Mom said you could have it all.

"Go outside and play"

That same woman turned to her daughter

"This is how you use pepper spray"

Don't stay out after dark

Or you're body will be found dead in the park

If a man forces his dick in your mouth

BITE IT OFF

Kick him where it hurts

AND RUN"

You were given encouragement

While we received a warning

So i am NOT sorry

We are taught sex is a sin

But how dare you not put out?

We are told abortion is murder

But nothing is done to help through that forced pregnancy

Nothing is done to help us raise that unwanted child

A generation of women raised to believe  we are meant to be seen  and not heard

Are finally finding their voices

They WILL be heard

And that makes you uncomfortable

A generation wanting to focus on quality of life rather than quantity

And that makes you uncomfortable

Let me tell you, I do NOT exist to make you comfortable

In the process of teaching her daughter to defend herself

Mama raised me to raise hell

You being uncomfortable

Just tells me I'm doing my job
