I'm Not Sorry

AMusings

These words are not pretty,

But I will not feel guilty about it.

"I'm glad shes dead"

Is an ugly thing to say,

And its colour does not look good on me.

I'll repeat it anyway.

I'll slip them uninvited into your ears,

And I'll leave her fate to God hands.

Drown your grief with your mother.

I didn't go to the funeral,

Deliverance has many roads.

"She deserves to be gone."

Is an angry decree.

Her absence does not disturb my peace,

That missing place at the dinner table,

Just makes breathing easier.

These words are not pretty.

Part of me doesnt even like them.

You definitely disapprove.

Yet time will not accept anything else.

You mourn for your wife.

Lets not forget I hated her.

Just be glad I delayed my victory dance,

I'll throw a party on her grave.

Stomp down hard so the Earth,

Doesnt spit back up her poison.

I won't take back what I said.

You lost a lover...

But for me,

The abuser is finally dead.
