Yes indeed. You could say that about many places in Italy. A land of culture, fine food, great art and architecture. Great scenery and climate, and lovely people! An expressive 5/7/5.
Hello dear D.V my impression of Rome was memorable too, yes I am lucky to be here in such amazing culture, although I cannot wait to come back to my beloved London, as it too gives the world a run for its money. ๐ Thank you ๐
yup, whenever I travel
if I get some free time
I always look-up
those defining architectures
of a period or a town's/city's
story
and then as I look and muse
I travel...
(lovely words, dear Poetess
you've really grasped this shorter forms
and made them your own
just awesome)
Dear Mek, there is a lot to see in England too, yesterday I got excited to see a car boot sale on sky news I got all excited with lovely memories. I love where I live but I do miss home. โค๏ธ Thank you dear friend
if you're ever back for a visit
I recommend a stroll down Portobello Market
on a weekend
a great location for a meaningful date..
and if you can time it
so you come a week before the August bank holiday
you get to see how it is normally, that week
and how it transforms for the bank holiday
Notting Hill Carnival, the very next week..
yup, London's kinda alright
with me at least, cheers to that! ๐ฅ
lol
Yes! I'd love to travel to Italy, it's one of my dreams. Everything there seems so gracious and almost living, like I swear the buildings look so alive. It's precious, wonderful 5/7/5.
Oh Rocky your mind has already traveled to so many wonders but all in good time my dear you will greet each and every step and stone that your heart desires. ๐ Thank you darling boy. ๐
