As the days pass by,
I sit and wonder why.
Our hearts have to be broken,
By words others have spoken.
Words said without thinking,
Uttered straight faced not once blinking.
Have they never been taught,
The power of the human thought!
How it can cause brutal pain,
Leaving scars that will forever remain.
Etched upon the broken heart,
Those words carelessly tore apart.
As I sit wondering-still,
How would they feel?
If their heart was broken,
By words others had spoken

Words can cause such pain sometimes ., a great poem ,. Sometimes we simply don’t think enough before we speak .. then it causes another pain
