The spade- tongued bastard
peels the petals from the flower
Was she a sweet, soft tulip?
Fragrant as lavender
Innocent as a lily
Untouched beauty in polluted soil
A virgin's love is sought by many
Is it true?
That the thin barrier of cotton
Is the only thing that protects my purity
Is it fiction?
That I can be loved for more than my flesh
Is my body but a trophy rose bush
tangled in a trellis of lies?
Budding with fresh enthusiasm
ready for harvest

How about "flowering and de-flowering" for a title?
Ah, thanks for the suggestion, though I took a different approach, thanks for the inspiration though, I was just going to keep it untitled at first
