-Souls walking by-

dean langmuir

There was a mannerism

a charisma

an essence

There was a sense

a feeling

a reverberation

There was a longing

a recognition

that a like minded spirit

had just walked by

with a scent

that still lingers

    (yup, how many
of those we walk past, daily
    can offer us
    that potential, for that yearned-for
    connection
    our distanced, societal
    co-existence
    insures, we'll never get
    to contemplate..)
    a relatable read, dear poet
    thanks for sharing
