Secret Lover

NABI

I am not the nagging type,
So when I'm hurt I don't put up a fight.
I stay quiet and bite my lip,
Lay in bed as I cry to sleep.

Your doubts made my heart ache this much.
So I can just tell my heart, hush hush.
I can't help my tears to fall,
And now my body is reacting from the fall.

I don't know where your doubts are coming from.
I just want to wrap you in my arms.
Hold your face and look into your eyes,
I will just stare until you hear my heart cries.

You don't have any idea how much I wanted to make you known.
Tell the whole world you are my chosen home.
But I know I don't have the right and power to do that.
Because in your big world I am just your secret lover and nothing can change that.
