Life’s a wild journey
For all to endure
Unique paths we embark on
Though we’re not so sure

What awaits us on the other side
Is it hell or paradise?
Many times the first is right
A struggle it is - endless fights

First round knockout
Feeling dejected
Failure leaves us heavily affected

However with each failure
Comes a lesson to be learnt
Even if it’s just how not to be hurt

Stronger people we become
And resilience is gained
Disheartened we feel
But who we love remains the same

Life’s a cruel mistress
Not a theory, it’s a fact
But you only lose when you give up
So never stop fighting back
