Misantrophy

Aisha

Does it make you any good just if you don’t do bad?

Is kindness doing good with an altruistic heart

or just escaping bad and living your life?

When looking around and seeing

the darkest states and shapes of people,

those small sparks of light of good

shine enough to make you want to live surrounded by the sun.

A child has grown not knowing

how small sparks can be seen

in such a deep late night.

How a grenade shines and sparkles

when it hits the ground,

that becomes a river of blood.

And, when we talk about the global warming

are those rivers to count?

Is me being kind same as me being blind,

ignoring the bad and sympathising with how beautifully someone cries?

Are those tears to wash the red rivers

and those hearts gone black?

A contagious heart that doesn’t know about love,

elucidate it with how when he was a child

he hasn’t been loved, they didn’t show him kind.

How do you do that thing with your mind

where you sympathise just with special kind?

Do bodies burn a different blaze on different sides,

or is it the after cry that only counts?

I search for an altruistic heart’s,

the ones written in the book of science of being kind,

the one that gives an example of a contagious smile.

So I would like to ask you,

do you also wear the same mask?

Let’s go back to a child

who didn’t learn to transmit smiles,

and when he sees the black heart

How is he going to react?

That he finally found a home

where there are no hidden sparks.

Be kind and don’t interrupt

when they are doing bad,

just be blind and close your eyes

because their deeds at that moment

Blindingly shine.
