Water to Rage//ADHD//

Dead!CLATTER

Notice of absence from Dead!CLATTER
I'm not going to post much after tomorrow due to school and stress, and overall just not having much time to make poems. I will post here and there, but other than that a whole lot of nothing. I hope you all have an amazing day though!! :] Remember to drink water and take care of yourself (bc you're important!!) :D

Failing classes

Forgetting chores

Feeding glass

To the sores

Falling under

Feeling pain

Fighting thunder

Feeling rain

Can’t focus on work

Can’t speak my rage

Can’t remember the words on the page.

Thunder and lightning

Thunder and lightning

Water and rain

Water and rain

Can’t forget the past

Can’t remember the page

Can’t make room to remember things to stay.

Failing classes

Forgetting chores

Feeding glass

To the sores

Falling under

Feeling pain

Fighting thunder

Feeling rain

Everyday

All the same

Whispering voices

Start screaming my name.

  • Comment from author about the poem: As someone who has ADHD, this is what it feels a whole lot like for me. Also, try imagining trying to focus on work with someone screaming in your ear, bricks being thrown at a window, and firecrackers being thrown at your feet.

I was diagnosed with ADHD recently. It gives me comfort to know I am not alone, with similar struggles. Love your words. Thank you.
