Depressed comfort

Kiddo

When you're caught between rock bottom and a hard place
and your heart aches to make a fast change
but you can't break out and start pace
Cause it feels like a sick haven, this dark stage
You start to see everything in the world that's messed
and the way you're seen, you're different from the rest
But soon you found a way to blend and not appear a mess
Even if you do you have ways to digress by quoting your hell
You turned to darkness, and in his embrace you found a friend
But friends always end with ends
What I mean, did the means have meaning if it means the same end
Do you manage to make the call before the line's dead
will you finish what you started or will it be a time lapse
of feeling you're in agony but you're helpless to yourself
And as you've sat there contemplating, the friend fades into slow death
and the only damn one that helped you with a place to dwell
Is now gone and replaced by a being who's true colors are a twisted secret
And The sunflowers got someone to look upto but the ice caps melt
Someone got wrapped up in warmth while the other hasn't slept
You can finally see the way but was it worth losing a friend

Such is human nature. One will always have to be the black sheep, and that sheep is always targeted more than the rest. Hopefully you have found a nice cozy spot here.
