The wagons come and go
As I'm waiting for my own
Called my friends to say goodbye
And that i had fun last night
Yesterday was the last time
I won't see them for a while
Now the train is here
There's no time to fear
I just walk inside to find my seat
Memories pass by
Right before my eyes
Why can't i go back to being a kid?
This is my home, this is my town
But now this train will carry me out
Packed my things inside a bag
Told myself "it's a few months"
I'll be back before i know
But for now it's time to go
I won't cry, I'll keep it down
But, my god, I'll miss this town
Now the train is here
There's no time to fear
I just walk inside to find my seat
Memories pass by
Right before my eyes
Why can't i go back to being a kid?
This is my home, this is my town
But now this train will carry me out
Outside this window is my life
All i can do is wave goodbye
This is my home, this is my town
But now this train will carry me out
