Great (pity) party

littlegreenbag

I'm sitting alone

At a party you invited me to

I can hear all your words through the wall

But none of them invite me there

All those conversations

All the names that don't mean anything to me

I'm just sitting there

Smiling, nodding head

Like I would care

But you'll never know that I don't

You'll keep saying names

And I'll never get them

Thanks for the party

Pity party

You've given me time to think

And reconsider my choices

    such
    a slim line between, compassion
    and unwelcome, pitying
but its a very distinct and clearly
    outlined, line..
    thanks for sharing
