The Acquaintance

The Acquaintance

Open your mind
I’m just passing through.
And if you
ask me to stay,
I will, well for
at least a while.
And I promise
not to disturb
what you hidden there,
or toy with emotions
stored away.
Queer as it may seem
that’s all I’m doing,
Passing through
with very little to say.
