Dog Tired

TeddyFlyer

I could watch my dog sleep
forever and a day.
Never tired of his snoring
or the awkward way he lay

He lies on his back,
Both legs are in the air
happily exposing himself,
he really doesn't care

Twitching at the visions
that he sees in his dreams
meeting the neighbour's dog
Or running through the streams

I don't know how he does it
he never seems to wake
Unless I mention biscuits
or start to eat a cake.
