You keep digging a darker hole while I grow brighter flames inside.
You keep digging faster the darkness eating you whole.
I keep standing still as stone the light of the flames catching fire to your soul.
The brighter they grow the harder it becomes for you to look away.
Now they circle your soul as you put the shovel down.
I hold you close as the flames ignite us both.
Now we both glow.
Ignited as one soul.
The flames now,
the brightest glow.
