Honor today, it's never coming again
Fill each moment with something worthwhile
Many wonderful people never made it this far
Sip that soda slowly and notice it's taste
Half the world is hungry right now and yearns for any morsel of food
Many older folks are lying in a bed all day half watching a fairly inane TV show
And they are the lucky ones not sitting on a curb somewhere and being ignored
Today approximately 10,000 children worldwide will die of hunger
So don't tell me you're bored and that there's nothing to watch on TV
Make somebody's day better – anybody
Honor today, it's never coming again
