no resolve

Noah Malice

my thoughts are in a tangle
in the forest of my mind
i try and strain to rearrange
and scribble over lines

and i see a glimpse of happiness
way out in the distance
if i can take this jumbled mess
i know i need persistence

a picture of a flower
behind the castle wall
and brick by brick i'm climbing it
praying i don't fall

a picture of the baroness
out in town today
and trust by trust i guess i just
am trying to make my way
