Bedtime (Multiple haikus)

Universal_guarantee

1.

I sink into bed

My true goal is inner peace

Now to drift away

2.

The dream world awaits

As I absorb into bliss

With no fear of day

3.

My mind forms new worlds

Potential is infinite

My pillow; a cloud

Brilliantly done! It’s a form I am coming to love and spend hours on, I used to do sudoku but now it’s haiku/senryu instead! That’s the power of this site, I was only vaguely aware of these before I joined and now I’m hooked. If only I was good at them though! Thought yours are really good and thanks….

Thank you so much for reading; I hadn't heard of senryu poetry before this comment, so I must agree that this site has been very fun for learning about different forms of poetry!

      beautiful, life-affirming Senryu's
      hope fuelled and accessibly, honest
devoid, of any cynically futile lament..
      thanks for sharing

Very well written Senryu poems. In particular, I enjoyed #3. I'm sure others would choose otherwise. Human nature gives an unlimited supply of subject matter for these kinds of poems. Yours are very well done. - Phil A.

#3 was my favorite too actually The human perception truly provides much opportunity in terms of writing.
