Waiting...

Aradhya

Winter rolls to Spring and,

Clouds part for the Sun

When days get harder

and fights break sphere,

When toddlers moan in hunger,

And Patriots wail in agony,

When law turns astray

And all goes wrong, we last,

Waiting... Waiting for light,

Embers of hope

Yet where is the end,

that glows with warmth?

Beautifully written. Some have to wait a lifetime.....

    • Aradhya

Thank you dear rozina for your kind words. There's a lot going on in the world these days let's hope all the chaos will be over soon enough and we'll find light and have peacefull times ahead. ❤

      Words of courage reign through
Amidst the dark days, searching for light
      The nature calls for change
      An impermanent change
That seems permanent with moving time
      Thought provoking poetry
Really liked the flow of poetry
      The words that smoothly vibe

wow! a very real truth, you expressed in beautiful phrases!
        'An impermanent change
That seems permanent with moving time'
this was so moving! i loved your words so much dear poet and thank you for taking a moment to appreciate and give a deeper meaning to my words!

Thanks dear Aradhya for so much praise
But I really liked the optimism and hope that you brought through your lines
World truly is in grim situation
No wonder which contour may define us
And waiting truly is what we could do…
