You can find yourself
So to anybody out there
Who may be waiting on a lover
to express how they feel about you
The time is now
The time is now for you to choose yourself
The time is now for you to put an expiration on this unjust layaway that has been forced upon you
Let us be honest
None of us have patience
to be fair none of us have time either
we are small minute details in an infinite universe and our very existence could be eradicated in what feels like the blink of an eye
Yet here we are
soaking in our self-sabotage
holding on to people who are unsure about us
longing for that sense of security
that they cannot give us

How true! Making sense of our existence is half the coin, the other is that 'self-sabotage' that others participate in. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for reading it.
I laud your ambition!
a 'metaphysic's Poet', in modernity..
and reading your work, I couldn't help
recalling lyrics to Larry June's
'wait on me'..
thanks for sharing
keep striving, keep soaring!
thank you so much for these kind words
An expressive one. Nicely written.
