Fetal Position

DestinysPerspectives

I have been struggling.
Digging deep into every memory.
Searching for the first wound.
When did the fear begin?
When did I lose faith?
When did I lose contact with my voice?
When did I lose my true form?
When did the world matter more?
Unburying every painful memory,
whose images I could not withstand.
I am unearthed now.
I am unraveling inside.
Returning to the fetal position.
I am reborn once more.

Is this about spiritual awakenings ? Difficult to let go of who we once were .. even if it’s for the positive I guess it’s still painful and can cause grief .. a good writing

Thank you! yes! It's about transformation and changing for the better. All things come with a price. All things are lost at some point but they return in better forms once you learn to let go. We should always be transforming like a butterfly. We might be great now but change can transform us into the best version of ourselves in the moment we are living right now. People who want better receive it because they believe they are worthy of better. This is the spiritual journey. Learning to flow with the change of energy.

When did I lose contact with my voice?
When did I lose my true form?
These lines just speak out to me! i felt as if i could relate to your words. Each time i recover after a episode of falling into depression i feel rejuvenated and the feeling of being born again with motivation is felt within. Loved the imagery and I felt it personally in many levels. Beautiful poem!

Thank you! I am happy that we can relate to one another. It's why art in all forms is the true beauty of the world. It's not the perfection of beauty a person might see. It's the way we can see ourselves in it's form or words. It's proof that no matter how different we might be on the outside we still can find shared experiences and emotions. We can also learn from art how to heal or new perspectives on the world. It's why I write everyday to share with others and reaffirm to everyone who reads my words that, they have never been alone.
