Endless Struggle

Vajavoda

I'm not crazy
You're just blind
Life is hazy
When you're falling behind

I just want to survive
Is that so bad
To just strive
Even if it hurts you a tad

Who will you blame
When the pain finds you
And you realize it's the same
Just starting anew

It's a struggle
Can't you see
To try not to fumble
But also be free

Keep working so hard
Till fingers become bone
No matter how scarred
In the dark all alone

But there is no prize
No treat for you or me
Just more abhorrent lies
To eat in the debris

Another pointless day
Where detritus muddle
Can’t get away
From this endless struggle.
