Set Sail

Rachel Summons

Time to leave

Oh set sail little boat of mine
It was fun, a great adventure indeed
However the island has become inhabitable
Vines have grown too big
Rivers of fresh water turned bitter
Ground scorching

I thought with time we’d learn together how grow here
You’ve proven me wrong
Oh sweet island, I wish were mine
Because she discovered you first
You made a house for her
In center of all
Even if it’s abandoned
You still took care of it
Should have known better than to stay
Oh great adventures indeed

So set sail boat of mine and focus not on the heartbreak
But rather on storm ahead of you
Set sail great boat of mine
And don’t turn back
