What an idyllic scene

    Being a Yank I had to google Cotter Dam Extension to find out about it. I see where this poem is coming from, and the terrible offset of nature with the needs of the population for water due to drought conditions. Climate change is after all, real. Wonderful write!

    I worked as a labourer and dogman on the building of the viewing platform, my first job on return to Australia from Japan, 2010.
    We destroyed an idyllic stream.
    Wombat faeces are square so as not to roll.😍
